The Ring-Center Berlin is the lively marketplace for the districts of Friedrichshain and Lichtenberg. The five-story atrium in Ring-Center 1, which is spanned by an imposing glass roof, is particularly attractive architecturally. The interactive 3D wayfinding system has been in use here in the two buildings since January 2016. The four kiosk systems can be used to select over 127 destinations and display the route through the buildings using the map, menu or virtual keyboard. The 3D route animation can be switched between two different perspectives at will and a barrier-free route can be selected. So that visitors do not have to remember the way to their destination, they can download it to their smartphone. Simply scan the QR code and off you go.
