Founded in 1668, Merck is the oldest pharmaceutical-chemical company in the world and today a leading science and technology company. Merck’s headquarters in Darmstadt was equipped with an interactive wayfinding system for the outdoor area in summer 2015. In this Guide3D application, visitors can be guided to the 30 destinations with a bird’s eye view of the 3D wayfinding animation. This outdoor application also allows visitors to download the path to their smartphone via QR code and watch the replay there. An app installation is not necessary. This service is available to visitors in a total of 12 languages, including German, English and Spanish.
