The Franken-Center was opened on October 23, 1969. It was the first large shopping center of ECE Projektmanagement GmbH, which was also the operator of the center from the very beginning. The sales area of the shopping center is about 40,000 m² with more than one hundred specialty stores, services and gastronomic businesses. The Guide3D wayfinding system has been in use there since March 2019. This guides end users to their desired destination in an impressive 3D navigation or bird’s eye view.
