The Wankdorf Center is the first Swiss shopping center to feature the Guide3D 3D navigation system. The system is combined with other modules such as public transport and the display of special offers. If visitors step up to the totem kiosk on site, they can interactively get an overview of offers and stores and even find out how to get there. In addition to the interactive level map, the 3D navigation system offers the possibility to search in categories and by means of an intelligent search function, e.g. for “watches” or “shoes”, in order to find corresponding stores. A special feature of this navigation system is its novel, intelligent user interface, which provides users with a pleasant and easy operation. The operating area can even be adjusted to the height of a wheelchair user at the touch of a “button”.
