TECHNOLOGY AT ITS FINEST

3d-berlin actively researches and develops new guidance system technologies in order to offer unique solutions for the future. This involves coorperations with renowned institutes such as the Heinrich-Hert-Institute / Frauenhofer. As a „research firm“ 3d-berlin is highly interconnected with universities and colleges giving students the opportunity to complete their final paper paper/thesis with 3d-berlin.

  • Autostereoscopy: New developments allow for a real 3D-image to be displayed (without 3D-glasses) by autostereoscopic monitors. Not only will the system Guide3D be a sensational expirrience but GUIs and advertisement content will also be displayed in 3D.
  • RFID: a RFID-chip allows a building contractor to determine the location of visitors and for active positioning. Current development in this area is underway.
  • Non-contact interaction: Contact Free Interaction: Screens of any size can recognize information by gestures and issue advertiments. This is also an area of focus in 3d-berlin’s research.
  • Blu-ray technology: Blue-ray is more than a data storage device. This technology can render 3D-content, include external content via an internet connection and much more. This opens the doors to new opportunities such as a less expensive technology for infomation systems and Digital Signage solutions.
